Context

The Objective: AFPA is a major player in vocational training in France. Every year, the organization supports thousands of adults in their career transitions and skill development.

As part of its brand repositioning, AFPA had recently adopted a new visual identity. However, one key challenge remained: translating this visual identity into video formats.

Objective

Video is playing an increasingly central role in the organization’s communications:
✱ educational content
✱ employer branding content
✱ learner testimonials
✱ internal and institutional communications
✱ social media content

The goal: to create an animated visual style guide that can unify all of their video productions.

To meet this need, AFPA enlisted the help of Rosad, an audiovisual production agency specializing in content creation for brands.

The project involved several strategic challenges.

First, we needed to adapt a new visual identity to the world of video by transforming the graphic elements of the brand guidelines into animated assets.

Next, these elements had to be designed as sustainable tools that could be used by AFPA’s in-house video production teams.

The project involved several strategic challenges.

The goal was also to design robust, clear, and easily reusable templates.

Another constraint: the designs had to work across multiple distribution formats:
✱ YouTube videos
✱ social media content
✱ horizontal formats (16:9)
✱ vertical formats (9:16)

Finally, a second challenge was to design three distinct video series identities while remaining consistent with the AFPA’s overall brand guidelines.

A balancing act between brand consistency and editorial creativity.

Part 1: Creation of a generic video intro

The Rosad agency has developed a comprehensive animated style guide designed to provide a framework for all of AFPA’s future video productions.

A video overlay including:

✱ Animated motion design logos
✱ Video intros and outros
✱ Segment titles
✱ Animated transitions
✱ Display of numbers and data
✱ Quotes and graphics
✱ Subtitle templates

Deliverables:

Each asset was delivered in both landscape and portrait formats to accommodate various communication needs.

Source files were also provided, along with user guides, to enable internal teams to easily produce their own video content.

This approach allows AFPA to become more self-sufficient while ensuring the visual consistency of its productions.

Phase 2: Production of 3 video series

The Rosad agency also designed the visual identity for three editorial series intended for social media.

Each series has its own visual identity, while remaining consistent with AFPA’s overall brand guidelines.

Note: The images used in these examples were taken from footage shot in-house by AFPA.

The challenge, therefore, was to visually harmonize footage of varying quality through careful editing, pacing, and graphic design

Series No. 1: “At the Heart of (Project)”

A series highlighting initiatives at training centers. Testimonials from instructors, learners, and teaching staff.

Series No. 2: “My New Career”

A series dedicated to career transitions. Inspiring profiles that demonstrate the tangible impact of training.

Series No. 3: “(Career), Why Not Me?”

A series designed to highlight certain professions and inspire people to pursue training in them.

For each series, Rosad has designed:

✱ a distinctive visual identity
✱ motion design templates
✱ a pilot edit using raw footage provided by AFPA

These prototypes now serve as a benchmark for the client’s future projects.

For this project, the Rosad agency worked with AFPA to develop a comprehensive video production system, combining editorial strategy, motion design, and marketing content creation.

Result

The project enabled AFPA to establish a sustainable structure for its video production.

The organization now has:
✱ a comprehensive animated visual identity guide
✱ reusable video templates
✱ three ready-to-deploy editorial formats

Result: more consistent, higher-quality, and more effective content production.

In-house teams can now easily produce social media and corporate content aligned with the brand identity.

Thinking of video as a system

Producing video content isn’t just about making films.

For brands, the challenge also lies in building a content ecosystem.

At Rosad✱, we approach every project with this mindset:
to create tools that will enable teams to produce more, better, and faster.

In the case of AFPA, the animated style guide serves as a creative foundation.
It ensures visual consistency across all productions.

A time-saver… and a stronger brand image.

Publications with a strong identity

Video series have become a powerful communication tool for brands.

But to be effective over the long term, they must have a clear and recognizable identity.

3 distinct visual styles

Designed to:
✱ capture attention on social media
✱ enhance content readability
✱ embody the AFPA brand identity

A project at the intersection of storytelling, motion design, and art direction.

This collaboration perfectly illustrates Rosad’s mission: to help brands create content that is more impactful, consistent, and sustainable.
